A Bit About Evaluations
Supporting your child's success
Many families have questions about their child's areas of vulnerability and how to promote areas of strength. These questions can be answered by psychological evaluations. Evaluations can help identify learning difficulties or giftedness, better understand behavioral or social-emotional challenges, and provide diagnostic clarification. For example, my evaluations help determine whether your child has a learning disability, what types of modifications and accommodations will best support your child in school, how executive functioning challenges or feelings of anxiety may be impacting your child's academic and social success, or whether the behaviors your child shows are consistent with an autism spectrum disorder diagnosis.
Evaluations are for adults, too
Individuals across the lifespan also have questions about their own areas of vulnerability and how to promote areas of strength. These questions can be answered by psychological evaluations, as well! Evaluations for adults can help understand previously unidentified learning difficulties, explain a history of behavioral or social-emotional challenges, and provide diagnostic clarification. My evaluations will help teens and adults to determine if there are modifications and accommodations that will better support success at work, school, and at home, how executive functioning challenges or feelings of anxiety may be impacting your life, or whether the behaviors shown over time are consistent with a clinical diagnosis such as Autism, ADHD, or Anxiety.
